A rainy day
by Edwin
When I woke up this morning I saw even better how beautiful this area is, because it was already dark when I arrived in Missoula last night. I went downtown to see more of the town and to have breakfast. After I had walked through the centre called ‘Heart of Missoula’ and had breakfast there, I opened my e-mail and got some very good news. My travel insurance e-mailed me back with the message that they will cover the loss of my tripod! As you can understand, I was very happy reading that. I went to a local photo store and bought the same tripod again. If there is any advice I can give you about traveling: make sure you got your insurance organized well, it can save you a lot of money in case of an accident!
Later that morning I decided to travel further, because Missoula was quite smaller as expected. I continued driving through the beautiful state of Montana in the direction of Yellowstone National Park. Unfortunately it was raining most of the day, but it was still very beautiful everywhere. The road to Yellowstone National Park was actually completely yellow of wide grain fields.
In the evening I arrived at a small place called West Yellowstone, about ten miles from the national park. I decided to stay there for the night and enter the park the following day. It was still raining, which made sleeping in my car even more cosy, although it also kept me awake for a long time. Late in the night I felt asleep with the exciting knowledge that I would be in the Yellowstone National Park the next day.
P.S. This message came online a little later as planned, cause it’s quite hard to find internet in the area of Yellowstone 😉
