Crossing four states in one day

by Edwin

This morning I said goodbye to Dawn and Debbies mom, but not before she gave me enough food, drinks and snacks for the next months. I now know that D&D don’t got their generosity from a stranger. πŸ˜‰ Happy with a lot of food and drinks for a long time I hit the road again in the direction of Missoula, Montana.

Partly because I heard these days how expensive speeding tickets can be here, but mostly because I really wanted to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, I drove not to fast today. I just turned on the radio and the cruise control and enjoyed a beautiful ride. I crossed four states today: Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. I crossed wide open valleys and beautiful mountains, woods and rivers.

About an hour before I reached Missoula I crossed a big swimming pool next to the road. I stopped the car for a short break. It was nice to cool down in the water for a while before continuing driving. It also was a perfect timing again, because I hadn’t left the swimming pool yet and it started to rain. The last hour to Missoula I drove through the rain, but I actually liked that for a change. Didn’t see so much rain since I was here. Most time today I was the only driver on these roads, so that was really nice. Just me and my car on a long road through beautiful nature… 😎 It was a great day and in the evening I arrived in Missoula and stayed there for the night.
